For all you sophomores who were out running around KC here is what we did in class and what you need for Tuesday.
In class I had everyone at random chose 1 of the tear sheets I provided. On each tear sheet it had a celebrity, and instruction and a color palette. I will have these for you on Tuesday to make this up at your leisure. Each student did 2 drawings of about 50 minutes each...not to mention each student brought in their 2 rapper drawings.
For class on Tuesday I asked everyone to work on just 1 drawing. That one drawing should be tight and focus on blending of colors to create skin tone and smooth transitions. You can use any colors (accurate colors or a wild palette) and can draw anyone you want. A friend, from a magazine anything. I would like for you to focus from the waist up. Not all needs to be rendered but at least have the body within the composition.
Bring colors pencils again to class...Tuesday will be last day of pencils.
