First off I wanted you to take 1 of the drawings you did in class of your classmates and scan it in.
I then wanted you to take that drawing and turn it into a more finished polished illustration in PSD.
Add color to it, play with the line. Think an almost fashion inspired illustration. (see example below on left)
The second part of the homework was to pick out any musician.
Draw them using a stick, stump, q-tip whatever is non-tradtional.
I also wanted you to then pick out a couple lines of lyrics from a song they had written or performed and hand letter them.
The hand lettering can be drawn in ink anyway you want.
You do not have to bring these in with color on the computer yet....just the pieces and drawings.
